01 — Our position

Cosmetic tattooing should look like skin. Not like ink.

Areola restoration is the last step of a long surgical road, and it is the first one that is entirely about how you feel looking in the mirror. The work is quiet by design: shape, shadow and colour built in thin layers until the eye stops separating the tattoo from the body around it.

The same principle runs through the rest of the studio. Brows that follow your bone structure, a lip line that nobody reads as drawn on, colour mixed for the skin in front of us. If a treatment will not sit well on your skin, or the timing after surgery is wrong, we say so at the consultation instead of taking the booking.

  • AHonest assessment first. We recommend only what suits your skin, your healing and your goals.
  • BColour matched by eye against your own tone and your surgeon's work, never picked from a chart.
  • CTime given properly: consultation, session, healing, then a refinement once colour settles.

03 — Process

How a restoration runs

01

Consultation

A private hour with no obligation to book. We look at your skin, your surgery history and what you want back. If tattooing is not right for you yet, you will hear that here rather than after a deposit.

02

Design and pigment

Placement is drawn on skin and checked with you sitting and standing, since that is how you will see it. Pigment is mixed against your own tone and against the colour on the other side where there is one.

03

The session

Two to three hours with topical numbing. You see the mirror at every stage and the work stops whenever you need it to. Colour is built in layers, deliberately short of the final depth.

04

Healing and refinement

Colour lifts and settles over four to six weeks. A refinement session follows once the skin has fully healed, which is where the last of the depth and shadow is set.

04 — Discretion

Privacy is part
of the treatment

Some clients arrive after a year of hospitals and want nobody to know about the last appointment. Others are recognised on the street. The studio runs the same way for both.

  • One client in the studio at a time, by appointment only.
  • No photograph leaves the room without your written consent, and consent can be withdrawn later.
  • Names are never published. A confidentiality agreement is available on request.
  • Out-of-hours appointments for clients who cannot be seen arriving.

05 — What clients say

350+

Five-star Google reviews

We do not reprint client words here. Reviews belong on a platform where anyone can check who wrote them and when, so ours stay on our Google profile, in full and unedited.

What clients raise most often is the part that happens before any needle: the assessment. Being told that a treatment is not suitable, or that six more months of healing would give a better result, is the reason many of them came back.

06 — Questions

Before you book

Anything not answered here can go straight to us by email, and it stays between us.

How soon after surgery can areola tattooing be done?
Once your reconstruction is complete and your scars have settled, and once your surgeon or treating team is happy for you to go ahead. In practice that is usually at least six to twelve months after the final procedure. Skin that is still changing will not hold colour the way it will later, so waiting is part of the result.
Does it hurt?
Most clients feel pressure and vibration rather than sharp pain, and reconstructed tissue often has reduced sensation. Topical numbing is used throughout and the session pauses whenever you ask it to.
Will it actually look real?
The work is built with shadow and highlight rather than a flat disc of colour, which is what convinces the eye at conversational distance. Results depend on your skin, your scarring and how you heal, and we will tell you at the consultation what is realistic for your particular case.
How long does the colour last?
Cosmetic tattoo pigment softens over time. Expect several years from a completed areola restoration, and one to three years from permanent makeup, depending on your skin, sun exposure and skincare. Refresh sessions are shorter than the original appointment.
What pigments do you use?
Trusted mineral-based pigments with UV protection, chosen for how honestly they hold their tone as they fade. Brand and batch details are recorded for your file and available to you on request.
Can my appointment stay completely private?
Yes. One client at a time, no photographs without written consent, no names published, and a confidentiality agreement if you want one on paper. Out-of-hours appointments can be arranged.
